Hello Friends, I would like to share some thoughts with you about your fridge.
In this journey of weight loss, It is important to what your buy for your fridge.
Well not really for your fridge but for yourself and your family. I believe in eating fresh and cooking with fresh ingredients
this habit helps you to keep an eye on yourself and what you are feeding your family.
This has a twofold effect:
- You can keep track of what you and your family are going to eat, and the portion size
- You are teaching your kids good habits by cooking fresh and they might enjoy learning how to cook for themselves
Home cooking is where it’s at. It’s the best way because you can keep track of the portion size ingredients and condiments you are putting in the preparation of your meals.
Having worked in the restaurant business in kitchens and dining rooms for 20-plus years.
The quantity and quality of the ingredients and portion sizes are different than when you cook at home.
Not saying that it’s not good but when chefs are cooking in the restaurant the amounts of
condiments such as salt, butter, cream, cornstarch, sugar, and other condiments are sometimes exaggerated to enhance the
flavor of the foods because we want to make the event of dinner for the guest to best it can be.
To have the guest come back to see us and bring friends.
Being mindful of cooking at home will help make your trip to the supermarket more beneficial for you to stay on track with your diet.
